We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Land Development Engineer to join our team at McIntosh Perry. As a key member of our Land Development group, you will be responsible for managing and supporting staff, completing engineering design for a wide variety of projects, and developing and maintaining relationships with industry professionals and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Management and support of staff, including workload planning, mentoring, training, and communication with direct reports.
- Completion of engineering design for a wide variety of projects, with a focus on components such as storm and sanitary services, watermain, lot/site grading and drainage, stormwater management, and utility coordination.
- Development and maintenance of relationships with industry professionals, consultants, and other business leaders.
- Assistance with the organic growth of the Land Development group through the addition of key hires, new clients, and the pursuit of potential new opportunities.
- Leadership and mentoring of engineering interns and technologists, and guidance and mentoring of more junior staff.
- Preparation of technical specifications and reports.
- Liaison with clients, government, and/or regulatory bodies, as well as contractors.
- Maintenance of positive client relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Project management duties, including working closely with clients and other McIntosh Perry staff and divisions to coordinate facilitation and completion of work.
- Preparation of engineering services proposals.
- Monitoring of industry standards and developments, assessing client needs, and making concrete decisions on proposed solutions.
