About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gameplay Tester to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Gameplay Tester, you will be responsible for developing and implementing playtesting activities and solutions for our internal playtesting process.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement playtesting activities and solutions to ensure high-quality gameplay experiences.
  • Collaborate with Design and Production teams to plan and execute playtesting schedules.
  • Analyze and report on playtesting data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain playtesting tools and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless playtesting experiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in games/software development.
  • Experience with playtesting or test team task scheduling.
  • Understanding of defect and task tracking software (JIRA, Testrail, DevTrack).
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile software/game development.
  • Experience working on AAA+ Live Service titles.
  • Familiarity with in-game dev tools.
  • Familiarity with bug prevention and containment strategies.
