About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Shannex Parkland in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction or building maintenance, with knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety legislation.

Responsibilities will include performing general maintenance duties, scheduled preventive maintenance work, and repairing structures and equipment.

The successful candidate will be able to access the PM Worx program for Preventive Maintenance schedules and process work orders.

They will also be responsible for requesting necessary materials, supplies, and tools, and maintaining control of storage and use.

As a key member of our team, the Maintenance Worker will take every precaution to ensure the health and safety of employees, residents, and all others in the workplace.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a High School Diploma or equivalent education, and 1-2 years' experience in construction or building maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in English, with French considered an asset.

They will also require the ability to provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire.
