Key Responsibilities:
  • Pastry Production: Prepare dough, batters, and icings according to recipes or special customer orders, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Staff Management: Train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods, promoting our products and driving sales.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Northgate Bakery is a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding work setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be able to work under pressure, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
