We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Ramp Service Agent to join our team at North Star Air Ltd.

About the Role

As a Ramp Service Agent, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of aircraft, cargo, and passengers at our airport location. Your primary duties will include driving and operating ramp-servicing vehicles and equipment, positioning passenger loading stairs and operating aircraft cargo doors, and marshaling or towing aircraft to gate positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate ramp-servicing vehicles and equipment, including forklifts and baggage handlers.
  • Position passenger loading stairs and operate aircraft cargo doors to facilitate passenger and cargo loading and unloading.
  • Marshal or tow aircraft to gate positions, ensuring safe and efficient aircraft movement.
  • Unload, sort, and route cargo and passenger baggage to their designated destinations.
  • Transport freight between aircraft and the airport warehouse, maintaining a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Clean and prepare aircraft interiors for passengers and wash aircraft exteriors to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
