As a Mechanical Engineering student, you will work closely with our Metal-Enclosed Integrated Product Team to provide support to various products manufactured at S&C. You will gain exposure to engineering design principles and manufacturing techniques, and will have the opportunity to work on projects that improve internal processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Revising drawings using Microstation 2D and Solid Edge 3D CAD software
  • Investigating design change requests
  • Developing custom product designs to meet customer requirements
  • Assisting with projects to improve internal processes

Qualifications include:

  • Pursuing a Mechanical Engineering Diploma/Degree
  • Proficiency in Visual Basic and experience with multidimensional arrays
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCad, Microstation, or Solid Edge
