About the Role

Definity is seeking a highly skilled Resiliency Manager to lead the development and implementation of its enterprise technology disaster recovery program. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with stakeholders to design and develop IT disaster recovery and business continuity strategies, integrating on-prem and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop IT disaster recovery and business continuity strategies, integrating on-prem and cloud platforms.
  • Configure and implement IT disaster recovery solutions, leveraging standard industry tools, data replication technologies, and cloud-based recovery services.
  • Plan and execute regular IT disaster recovery testing and validation exercises, leveraging automation, monitoring, and alerting tools as needed.
  • Lead IT disaster recovery incident response activities and provide expert guidance during crisis situations, collaborating with key technology and business leaders across the enterprise.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, preparedness, and awareness within Definity, including incident response and communication tools like mass notification systems and collaboration platforms.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' experience of hands-on experience in IT disaster recovery design, planning, and implementation in mid-sized to large enterprises across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Experience with IT disaster recovery program development, including critical elements such as business impact analysis, recoverability assessment, business and technology strategy development, planning, process creation, testing, and governance.
  • Previous work on implementing multiple complex enterprise-level change programs, creating standards, promoting, and measuring adoption.
  • 10+ years combination of solution design, technical implementation, and infrastructure architecture experience.
  • Experience with application architectures, middleware, and technology platform architectures (cloud, on-premise, and hybrid).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written).
