At Hair Village, we're seeking a skilled Hairstylist to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service, and delivering top-notch hair care services.

About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - 60,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Hairstylist at Hair Village, you will be responsible for:

  • Advising clients on beauty care treatments and analyzing their hair and scalp condition
  • Cutting and trimming hair according to client instructions or preferences
  • Shampooing customers' hair, shaving and trimming beards and mustaches, and providing other hair treatment services
  • Applying bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair, as well as applying hair extensions
  • Cleaning and styling wigs and hair pieces, cutting, trimming, tapering, curling, waving, perming, and styling hair
  • Suggesting hairstyles compatible with clients' physical features and preferences

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • At least 2 years of experience in the hairdressing industry
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
