Position Overview

The Senior Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of NFTC aircraft fleets. This role involves interpreting airworthiness standards, maintaining and monitoring training records, and coordinating the development and delivery of training related to aircraft systems operation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret airworthiness standards and processes.
  • Maintain and monitor training records.
  • Coordinate training development and delivery.
  • Ensure maintenance-related tasks are conducted in accordance with airworthiness rules and standards.
  • Authorize personnel to conduct maintenance-related activities.
  • Monitor competencies of individuals and the organization.
  • Ensure personnel receive necessary training and remain knowledgeable and skilled.
  • Authorize external agents to conduct work.
  • Revoke airworthiness authorizations.

High attention to detail is required for the interpretation of airworthiness requirements and the subsequent changes to our Maintenance Process Manual.

As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully pass a security evaluation and obtain necessary re-transfer authorization.
