Dental Support Specialist

At Central Dental, we're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dental practice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
We offer an attractive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the JobThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for assisting health care professionals, following through on treatment programs with patients, setting up and dismantling equipment, cleaning and maintaining equipment, recording vital signs, maintaining supplies, processing files and paperwork, scheduling and confirming appointments, preparing patients for dental examinations, ordering dental and office supplies, performing reception and clerical duties, sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment, and recording dental procedures performed on patients.
- Main Responsibilities:
- • Assist healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care
- • Maintain accurate records and files, including vital signs, medical histories, and treatment plans
- • Prepare patients for dental examinations by escorting them to examination rooms, positioning them in chairs, and ensuring their comfort during procedures
- • Order and maintain dental and office supplies, including stock inventory management and requisitioning new items as needed
- • Perform various administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and updating schedules
- • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment according to established protocols and guidelines
- • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and efficient operations

- Key Qualifications:

- • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
