We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Alstom, a global leader in the mobility sector. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects by identifying and mitigating risks.

About the Role:
  • As a Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing contract and project documents to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • You will maintain a risk register that tracks overall progress and the accomplishment of specific actions.
  • Support the implementation of quantitative models of cost and schedule, including quantitative risk analysis tools.
Responsibilities:
  1. Risk Management Policy and Procedures:
  • Adhere to all project/risk management plans and procedures in force.
  • Identify project members' training requirements in risk management and schedule regular seminars and training courses.
Risk Identification and Assessment:
  • Participate in necessary risk identification brainstorming sessions with Risk/Project Managers.
  • Assist in coordinating risk inputs, including identification and assessment of risks with different sub-systems.
  • Follow up with project team members to finalize their assessments on time based on project needs.
Risk Mitigation and Monitoring:
  • Help Risk Manager/Risk owners organize risk workshops and risk reviews.
  • Participate in implementing risk management tools for quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis.
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring progress on risks and risk mitigation actions according to commitment dates adequate to the project's needs.
Risk Reporting:
  • Alert the Risk Manager and Project Manager or any other leader of the project team in the event of a significant discrepancy between mitigating actions and actual progress.
  • Possibly propose new KPI tracking initiatives.
  • Assist in producing regular Risk Assessment Reports, training materials, and presentations.
About You:
  • You have a strong understanding of design and construction contracts and the relationship between risk management and controls/management functions.
  • You are proficient in MS Office programs, especially MS Excel.
  • You are aware of International Risk Management Standards and Quantitative Risk Analysis Tools.
