Job Title: Machinist Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist Supervisor to join our team at Usinage et Fabrication Olympia inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our machine shop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of machinists and machining and tooling inspectors to ensure that all production tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure that production deadlines are met.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed in the machine shop.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure that all team members have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Prepare production and other reports as required.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in a machine shop environment.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to supervise a team of 11-15 people.
