About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Language Instructor to join our team at StudyPug Tutors Richmond Inc. as a Language Instructor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and materials for students of various language proficiency levels.
    • Conduct classes, workshops, and one-on-one sessions to promote language learning and cultural understanding.
  • Curriculum Development
    • Design and implement curriculum frameworks that cater to diverse learning needs and goals.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality in teaching practices.
  • Student Support
    • Provide individualized support and guidance to students to help them achieve their language learning objectives.
    • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay updated on best practices in language instruction and cultural competence.
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as linguistics, education, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in language instruction or a related field.
  • Language Skills
    • Proficiency in English language and culture.
  • Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
