About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Hansel and Gretel Bakery. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Special Orders: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
