We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in the Inpatient Pharmacy Operations department. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your technical skills and knowledge of pharmacy practices in a dynamic healthcare environment.

The successful candidate will have completed a recognized Pharmacy Technician program or diploma, and possess at least one year of experience in the field. Registration as a Part A Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists is also required. Previous experience in a hospital environment and computerized systems would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical functions related to medication preparation, dispensing, and distribution to inpatients and outpatient clinics
Maintain ward stock, deliver medication, purchase and control inventory, compound pharmaceutical products, and monitor usage and expiry dates
Practice to the full scope of a Pharmacy Technician, including independent double checking and additional duties as assigned by the department/program
Work in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations, professional standards and guidelines, and CAMH corporate and departmental policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge of pharmacy practices and mathematics
Effective organization and time management skills, with a great degree of accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and patient population
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience
