Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and results-driven professional to join our team as a Senior Software Developer. As a key member of our Global Functions Technology team, you will be responsible for delivering high-performing applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent technology initiatives, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end delivery of technology projects, including planning and communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve deliverables, and ensure effective integration into RBC procedures and processes.
  • Hands-on development of technical modules and guidance of junior developers as needed.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree coupled with technology development experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills, as well as strong inter-personal and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management capabilities.
  • A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.
  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience in programming languages (Java, Scala, SQL, Unix scripting), frameworks (Spring boot, OpenShift containers), DevOps (Jenkins, UCD etc.), and Cloud (Azure, AWS etc.).
