Counselor for Veterans

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.

We are seeking a highly skilled Counselor for Veterans to join our team. As a Counselor, you will work with clients to address mental health and psychosocial problems that are barriers to better health and family/community engagement.

You will provide goal-focused psychotherapy, social work assessments, and social work interventions in the client's social milieu to improve social and community functioning.

Your primary focus will be on providing cognitive-behavioral therapy based on an overall client-centered philosophy.

• Masters Degree in Social Work
• Registration with a provincial College of Social Workers as an autonomous practitioner in good standing
• 2 years+ of experience in case conceptualization and psychotherapy/social work intervention for a range of mental health symptoms and psycho-social barriers with a variety of adult clients
