Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

At Payless Sand and Gravel Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance operations of our facilities, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and train cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect facilities regularly to identify any safety or cleanliness issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for cleaning and maintenance operations.
  • Recommend additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting, repairs, or replacement of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records for cleaning and maintenance operations.
  • Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs and ensure that all financial transactions are processed correctly.
  • Establish work schedules for cleaning staff to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
