Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring suites are clean, inviting, and well-maintained
  • Clean all common washrooms and guest common areas to a 5-star standard
  • Manage keys, maintain cleaning supplies, and adhere to OHS and WCB standards
  • Record area cleaned, return lost and found articles, and follow departmental policies
  • Report necessary maintenance items, follow safety and sanitation policies, and conduct weekly and monthly inventories
  • Stock maids' rooms and carts, remove garbage and recycling, and attend to conference activities
  • Clean and maintain office areas, keep storage areas clean, and perform regular property security walk-throughs

Physical Aspects of the Position:

The role requires constant standing and walking, frequent lifting and carrying up to 30lbs, and occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps. You must be physically capable of performing repetitive work and have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Room Attendant or in a position requiring hard physical work and high guest service standards
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work cohesively with colleagues and unsupervised at a fast pace
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal
  • Commitment to providing excellent service and exceeding guests' expectations
