Position Overview

The Chief of Staff will work closely with the CEO and executive team to drive operational excellence across the organization. This role requires a dynamic individual who can identify and address operational gaps, particularly in early-stage departments, and support company functional areas by owning and solving problems. This position can be based remotely, in a hybrid setup, or in our offices in Victoria or Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and fill operational and administrative gaps in early-stage departments, ensuring seamless operations and process improvements.
  • Step into functional areas to understand problems, identify root causes, and create project plans to resolve issues.
  • Lead strategic projects critical to the company's growth, aligning with the CEO's vision and objectives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role, COO, CEO, Operational Senior Leader, with a proven track record of success in operational management, strategic planning, and scaling SaaS companies.
  • Extensive experience in Marketing, Sales, and Product management, with a deep understanding of how these functions intersect to drive growth.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, high-impact projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience working directly with C-level executives, with the ability to influence and drive decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
  • Experience preparing and presenting reports, presentations, and strategic updates to boards, investors, and executive teams.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.

Skills

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong project management expertise, with a history of managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
