Ming Fai James Yam is seeking a reliable and compassionate Caregiver to provide personalized support to seniors with physical disabilities in their home environment.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors, providing assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. They will also be responsible for preparing nutritious meals, administering medications, and maintaining a safe and clean living space.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience working with seniors or individuals with physical disabilities
  • First Aid Certificate and Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Punctuality, client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, patience, honesty
Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $40,000 per year, paid bi-weekly, plus benefits, including health, dental, and vision coverage, and access to a retirement savings plan.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with occasional evening shifts. They will be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, kneeling, and repetitive movements.
