As a Finance Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of our financial systems.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transactions
- Prepare and process general ledger entries, journal entries, and other financial transactions
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing and collecting payments
- Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assess fixed assets and depreciation
- Conduct routine statistical analysis of financial data
- Financial Systems
- Manage and maintain financial software and systems, including accounting software
- Store, update, and retrieve financial data
- Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
- Financial Compliance
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
