Job Summary

The Welder position at SCS Manufacturing is a critical role that requires a skilled and experienced professional to join our production team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal products, including containers, fixtures, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and repair metal products using various welding techniques, including MIG, ARC, and TIG.
  • Operate metalworking machinery, including jigs and fixtures, to manufacture metal products.
  • Assist the Design Department in understanding production drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
  • Perform routine maintenance operations and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure continuous improvements in work processes and meet production quotas.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Welder, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Valid welding certification, including Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), in all positions.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
