Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Crane Supervisor to join our team at Tenaris in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and maintainability of our equipment, optimizing maintenance strategies, and providing technical support to emergency crews and staff areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and supervise the execution of preventive maintenance plans, ensuring systematic analysis, defining corrective actions, and generating improvement opportunities.
- Perform and oversee inspections in your area of responsibility, guaranteeing technical resource availability, and ensuring a suitable minimum stock.
- Support the Engineering area in researching and assessing the best equipment available, and participate in the development of maintenance information systems.
- Act as a shift leader, responsible for leading employees during their assigned time period/shift, coordinating schedules, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring work safety conditions.
- Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensure adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to your area of responsibility.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in a supervisory role.
- Mechatronic or mechanical specialization.
- Previous supervisory experience is considered a strong asset.
