Job Title: Nanny

We are seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to join our team at Tania Hemraj. As a nanny, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Shop for food and household supplies, preparing nutritious meals for the family
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their personal hygiene and social development needs are met
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting a positive and respectful environment
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, encouraging their growth and development
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintaining confidentiality and discretion
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their physical and mental well-being
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, ensuring their sleep and relaxation needs are met
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their transportation needs are met
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and support when needed
  • Help children with homework, promoting their academic growth and development
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and families
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Initiative and judgment, with the ability to make decisions and take action as needed
  • Organized and reliable, with the ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with other caregivers and family members
  • Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
