Manufacturing Machinist Specialist

Rapid Precision Machining & Gearing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Machinist Specialist to join our team in a variety of machining tasks.
Estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic role that involves working independently as well as part of a team to ensure the highest level of precision and quality in manufacturing processes.
We are looking for someone who can work efficiently with various machinery tools, including engine lathes, filing machines, gear cutting machine, milling machines, tool grinders, and computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
Key Responsibilities- Compute dimensions and tolerances: Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts using precise measuring instruments.
- Maintain quality standards: Maintain quality standards by verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
- Operate machinery: Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools.
- Document results: Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Machinist Trade Certification: Possess a valid Machinist Trade Certification.
- Measuring Tools Experience: Have experience with micrometers and callipers.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Be proficient in Mastercam CAD/CAM software.
- Instrument Experience: Have experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Be familiar with a variety of machining equipment, including engine lathes, filing machines, gear cutting machine, milling machines, tool grinders, and computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
