About the Role

Alteo is seeking a highly skilled Service Delivery Engineer to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our SaaS services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Request Management
    • Ensure timely implementation of services accepted by clients, meeting agreed-upon deadlines.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to prepare, validate, and deliver update patches.
    • Handle and process incidents generated by service implementation.
  • Customer Support
    • Qualify customer requests for information and provide accurate responses.
    • Prepare, process, and communicate responses to customer inquiries.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Contribute to the development of skills among team members, enhancing collective performance.
    • Provide guidance, support, and backup to the team.
Requirements
  • DEC/BAC in IT or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of service-oriented architectures.
  • Good understanding of APIs.
  • Familiarity with the electronic payment industry (a significant asset).
  • PowerCard solution expertise (a significant asset).
  • UNIX environments (OS, Unix Shell...).
  • Database management (Oracle, PostgreSQL...).
  • Testing techniques.
  • Writing of technical and functional specifications.
  • Customer orientation.
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Initiative-taking.
  • Problem anticipation.
  • Reporting and monitoring.
  • Involvement in quality processes.
