We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher to join our team at Downtown Enterprise Ltd. as a Meat Cutter. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparing Meat: Clean and cut meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring all products meet our high standards.
- Meat Handling and Display: Wrap and package prepared meats, and ensure all products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations on meat products.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers to ensure seamless operations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
- Adherence to Safety and Quality Standards: Ensure all products are handled and stored in accordance with our safety and quality standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
