We are seeking a skilled Welder Helper to join our team at Concept Plumbing & Gas Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our plumbers and welders in the installation and maintenance of domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Material Preparation: Sort and organize metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to ensure efficient workflow.
- Metal Fabrication: Assist in grinding or chipping excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain clean machines and work areas, adhering to safety standards and company policies.
- Tool Operation: Utilize hand and power tools to support plumbing and welding tasks.
- Supply Management: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of materials.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Work Environment: Physically demanding role with repetitive tasks, requiring ability to work independently.
- Personal Qualities: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and punctuality.
This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
