Job Title: Java Lead

Infosys is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team. This position will involve working with key stakeholders to apply technical expertise across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Required Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario/Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • At least 4 years of Java application development and maintenance.
  • Experience with Java Spring boot, Microservices.
  • Participate in project review meetings with the client and provide regular updates to offshore.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
