Key Responsibilities

  • Network Design and Planning: Perform network design and capacity planning to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research on network products, protocols, and standards to support network procurement and development efforts.
  • Technical Support: Provide 2nd level technical support to users concerning network system operations.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnose problems with network equipment and configure and program network devices to resolve issues.
  • Cyber Security: Develop and maintain secure segmentation of our network, manage network cyber security tools, and liaise with corporate teams on network aspects of cyber security.
  • Documentation and Training: Maintain network documentation, including maps, diagrams, processes, and procedures, and create documentation and train the IT team how to use and maintain new technologies.
  • Risk Management: Manage risks for enterprise networking IT infrastructure, ensuring uptime to meet business needs.
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents and requests affecting network-related systems.
