Job Description

The Local Eatery is seeking an experienced and organized Café Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a team of 3-4 staff members, and maintain high standards of customer service.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for:

  • Determining café services and implementing operational procedures;
  • Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to staff members;
  • Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring accurate cash handling;
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations;
  • Participating in marketing initiatives and promoting The Local Eatery's brand;
  • Addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently;
  • Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations to meet business objectives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar management position;
  • A College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds;
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and adapt to changing circumstances.
