Job Title: Meat Clerk

Join Metro, a leading Canadian retailer, as a Meat Clerk in our Côte Vertu store. As a key member of our meat department team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and stock meat products, including beef, pork, and other items, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and package meat products for display, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Process customer transactions, including handling cash and credit payments, and providing accurate change.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Physical ability to lift and move merchandise, as required.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
