Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze client software and system requirements to determine optimal solutions.
  • Install, upgrade, and customize ISV software tools in a multi-system z/OS mainframe environment.
  • Ensure software and hardware currency to avoid End of Support costs.
  • Maintain and optimize Parallel Sysplex, SMPE, RMF, SMF, WLM, and other critical mainframe components.
  • Address technical show-stoppers and implement performance tuning strategies.
  • Configure and manage z/OS security, JES2 customization, and PARMLIB settings.
