Senior Care Nurse Opportunity

Amica Senior Lifestyles is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Senior Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced LPN to work in our long-term care and assisted living environments. As a Senior Care Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Conducting assessments and developing personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall resident experience

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration and good standing with the BCCNM
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • Previous experience working in long-term care/assisted living environment considered an asset
