Job Description

ADGA Group Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Architect to provide expert guidance on System Architecture to Land Command Systems Program Management staff and coordinate System Architecture efforts for the Canadian Deployable Mission Network (CDMN) and the Land C4ISR Support System (LCSS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop top-level System-of-Systems (SoS) views for the CDMN and LCSS networks.
  • Provide guidance on the application of the architecture framework and ensure its principles are understood and applied.
  • Document sub-system views in accordance with the DND Architecture Framework standard and support other System Architects with documentation activities.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Business Analyst to ensure the System Architecture aligns with the CDMN/LCSS Operational Architecture, Operational Requirements, and Concept of Operations.
  • Highlight gaps or deficiencies in the System Architecture and provide recommendations for corrective or mitigation measures.
  • Maintain the System Architecture across Land Command Systems Program as operational artifacts change.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with a focus on network, software, computer, systems, electrical, or a suitable engineering or technical field.
  • Demonstrated Professional Engineer License within Canada.
  • Experience as a System Architect on Military Command and Control Communication and Information systems or ISTAR systems.
  • Proven expertise in preparing technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology/Information management or engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey information technology frameworks/strategies to management and technical staff.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in the development of IT tactical systems, frameworks, or strategies.
  • Experience in developing architecture in areas such as System-of-Systems level architecture for C4ISR systems, system requirements gathering for complex systems, and system level architecture for command and control communication and information systems.
