Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team at New Thor Logistics. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Pay and receive payments for goods, maintaining accurate records of transactions.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle maintenance and operation.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, providing accurate data for logistics planning.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Valid passport.
  • Criminal record check.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working on-site. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
