Victoria Airport Authority (VAA) is seeking a seasoned leader to drive commercial strategy and revenue growth at Victoria International Airport. As Vice President, Revenue Strategy & Business Development, you will lead the development and execution of business development strategies to maximize revenue and cultivate new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize commercial opportunities
- Lead a small team to formulate and execute VAA's business development strategy, with a focus on revenue maximization and new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the executive team to provide strategic counsel and recommendations on commercial and economic initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including airlines, concessionaires, and government agencies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in airport revenue generation and commercial development
- Extensive experience in airport management, including aeronautical and non-aeronautical revenue generation, real estate, marketing, and communications
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing successful business development strategies
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to empower and inspire teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Eligibility to work in Canada and the ability to maintain airport security clearance (RAIC)
