The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting experiments, cell culture, cell-based assays, and nanofabrication. They will also perform regular research laboratory maintenance, record keeping, and training new students.

Key Responsibilities

This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement with 40 hours per week and a daily work shift during the day. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biomedical engineering or a related field, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The selected individual must be skilled in tissue culture, nanofabrication, and confocal microscopy. They will also need to lift sampling equipment as part of their job duties.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant laboratory technician or research study experience carrying out research protocols and tests, or other technical work
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Skilled in tissue culture, nanofabrication, and confocal microscopy
