Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled tradesperson to join our team at Mahil Drywall Ltd. As a construction and renovation specialist, you will be responsible for leading projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality results.

Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare layouts and designs according to building codes using precision measuring tools
  • Cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, substitutes, steel, and other materials with exceptional skill and attention to detail
  • Develop and present tenders and quotations to clients, highlighting the value proposition of our services
  • Conduct site surveys to identify potential issues and develop strategies for mitigation
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance to junior team members to ensure knowledge transfer and skills development
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of other tradespeople to ensure smooth project execution
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, taking into account factors such as location, complexity, and timeline

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in the construction or renovation industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in tasks such as preparation, measurement, cutting, shaping, assembly, and joining of materials
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to instruct and guide others
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and working at heights
