Job Title: FME GIS Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled FME GIS Developer to join our team at CP. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing ETL workflows that manage the flow of GIS data and its integration with various systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement real-time and near real-time ETL workflows using FME Server and Desktop.
  • Support FME Server and Desktop processes, ensuring seamless data integration and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools for providing GIS analysis and output for business.
  • Perform QA/QC in support of day-to-day operational data change requests.
  • Collaborate with CP Change Management and internal business partners to deliver ETL requests.
  • Troubleshoot incidents or defects in supported applications and ensure timely resolution.
  • Document processes and improve efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Geomatics, or related discipline.
  • 4-6 years of experience in GIS and ETL using Safe Software as core software - FME.
  • 4-6 years of practical experience in GIS using ESRI as core software is an asset.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python is an asset.
