Position Overview

The organization, Fearisnotlove, is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to spearhead our financial strategy, planning, and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the CFO will:

  • Collaborate with the Board and executive leadership to drive organizational growth and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Lead comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring effective financial management that aligns with our strategic goals.
  • Champion business transformation efforts, fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee critical areas including people and culture, legal compliance, risk management, and business continuity planning, which are essential for safeguarding our operations.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and executive oversight to support informed decision-making and promote sustainable growth.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, along with a CPA designation.
  • A proven track record of over 15 years in relevant financial roles, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Strong financial acumen and strategic vision, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging and inspiring stakeholders at all levels.
  • A leadership style that emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering an environment where innovation and excellence can flourish.
