Job Responsibilities

As a Service Rig Driller, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining our service rigs, ensuring safe and efficient drilling operations. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 3 years working experience on service rigs (Thermal, SAGD, Slant Rig Heavy Double experience is an asset)
  • An Energy Safety Canada, Service Rig Competency Certificate is an asset
  • An H2S Alive Certificate
  • A Standard/Intermediate First Aid, Level C with AED (Red Cross or St John Ambulance preferred)
  • A Valid Driver's License (Class 1 or Q endorsement is an asset)
  • A Common Safety Orientation Certificate (CSO)
  • A 5-year Commercial Drivers Abstract
  • A Fall Rescue for Rig Work Certificate
  • A Fall Protection for Rig Work Certificate
  • A Well Service BOP Certificate is an asset
