We are seeking a highly skilled Environment Artist to join our team at Electronic Arts. As an Environment Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models, textures, and environments for our games.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and create 3D models, textures, and environments that meet the game's artistic vision and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with the art team to ensure consistency and quality across all game assets.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the game's art style and technical capabilities.
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure that the game's environments are immersive and engaging.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in 3D modeling, texturing, and environment creation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Maya, Max, or similar 3D modeling software.
  • Experience with photogrammetry, ZBrush, and Substance Designer is a plus.
  • Strong asset creation abilities, including hard surface, architecture, and organic assets.
  • Strong knowledge of breaking down complex scenes into efficient asset sets and components.
  • Ability to work methodically, from initial grey-block through to final assets, iterating with low-fidelity content to determine the optimal approach.
  • Strong sense of proportion, scene composition, and lighting.
  • Experience working with content-driven game engines, such as Unreal, Frostbite, or Unity.
  • Ability to collaborate with designers, engineers, and tech artists to evolve workflows and pipelines.

  • Competitive base salary range: $89,300 - $123,000 CAN Annually (British Columbia)
