About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Digital Designer to join our team at BRP, a world leader in recreational vehicles and boats. As a Digital Designer, you will play a key role in bringing our design studio's projects to life, working closely with our design team leader to shape innovative and spectacular concepts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create digital styling models from sketches or preliminary 3D files using Alias Surface software.
  • Develop proportions, refine surface quality, and propose alternatives to designers.
  • Participate in the styling development of recreational vehicles and/or their accessories.
  • Integrate technical and ergonomic envelope parameters.
  • Prepare 2D presentation material and real-time 3D visualization using VRED Design software.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in transportation design or product design.
  • Training as a digital sculptor, digital designer, or surface modeller using Alias Surface software.
  • Experience designing vehicles or products with complex shapes.
  • The ability to communicate in French and English to collaborate with our external teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of design fundamentals: proportions, mass/volume, dynamics, and silhouette.
  • Knowledge of light and shadow principles, and parallax effects.
  • Knowledge of design trends and surface treatments.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest digital modelling methodologies.
