Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate punctuality, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
