We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, utilizing quantity take-off procedures, and advising on tendering procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Utilize quantity take-off procedures to ensure accurate estimates
  • Advise on tendering procedures to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss changes and adjustments to cost estimates
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate estimates
Requirements:
  • Civil construction experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
