Job Title: Information Security Specialist

At SHOEBOX Ltd., we're revolutionizing the way hearing healthcare is provided. Our innovative audiometry products are making hearing testing more accessible and affordable than ever before.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will work closely with our Chief Security Officer to maintain and improve our ISO 27001 certified Information Security Management System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Information Security needs in software development process
  • Incident Management
  • Risk Management
  • Business continuity & disaster recovery planning and rehearsals
  • Support software tool lifecycle
  • Provide security awareness training to employees
Requirements
  • 3-5 years experience in Information Security roles
  • Experience with security and privacy standards such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity framework, SOC1/2, HIPAA/PIPEDA/GDPR, etc.
  • Any of CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA certifications are beneficial to the role but not a requirement where candidate has equivalent experience
  • Proven track record in successful implementation of policy and systems
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple activities and objectives
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingual in English & French seen as an asset
