Job Title: Caregiver - Resident Support

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at AgeCare Mount Ida Mews. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring
  • Participate in recreational activities and social events to promote resident engagement and well-being
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols

Requirements:

  • Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker (PSW) program or equivalent experience
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • First Aid certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
