Mobile Merchandiser/Display Specialist

About the Role:
Hallmark is seeking a highly motivated and organized Mobile Merchandiser/Display Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Mobile Merchandiser/Display Specialist, you will be responsible for representing Hallmark in a retail environment, promoting our brand and products, and ensuring that our displays are visually appealing and well-stocked.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Engagement: You will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of Hallmark products in assigned retail stores. Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and control inventory levels of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark display area. You will also be in communication with your supervisor, reporting your hours worked, providing feedback, and responding to merchandising activity surveys using your mobile device. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential for success in this role.
- Holiday Support: Hallmark's business is seasonal in nature. Prior to and after holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you can expect to work extended hours during the workweek. In some cases, you may be required to work on the actual holiday day, which may include weekends.
- Display Refresh: You may be part of a team responsible for installations and various tasks such as building and installing Hallmark lighting, moving card and product displays, and resetting sections of cards. Typically, you will be notified two weeks in advance of remodel missions. This may involve evening or weekend work.
- Team Vision: As a field organization, although you will be assigned to specific responsibilities, there may be additional work and installation efforts that you will be asked to support.
Physical Demands:
This is a physically demanding job requiring a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the sales floor as well as in stockrooms. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry boxes, merchandise, and displays weighing up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will also need to bend, stoop, walk, and stand throughout your workday, and may need to climb stairs and ladders.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- You are able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products weighing up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- You are able to use the provided portable technology to open and read documents and interpret information.
- You have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
- Experience in the retail industry is desirable.
